i do like cardozo, but i think his best days may just be behind him. also pushing your boss over isn't the greatest kind of personality to bring to this club (if we were interested). pretty sure it was the players' fault who bottled 3 games in 2 weeks in the last minute
 
Oh noes we wont manage to sign a 30 year old! Wouldn't see him doing too well over here anyway. Really not fussed.
 
if we do decide to go back in for fer, do people reckon we'll have to pay more for him?think twente will be pee'd off with us and it won't be a simple case of we'll accept the original payment structure that was agreed and they'll be happy with that

Wouldn't his value be lower because he doesn't have as long left on his contract. Maybe Bill learnt something from the Yobo farce.

If anything he should be cheaper, considering he will only have 12months left on his contract.

IMO of course.

But ive heard hes been playing well in the U21s, so im pretty sure hes on a lot of other teams radars now and I think we can agree, Twente would rather deal with any other Club in the world than us.

12 months okay, that's good. he's scored in both games, but he is on the bench so yeah, maybe there won't be teams much better than us after him
 
We have got to stop being linked with 30 year olds! Alcaraz, Kone, and now Cardozo. Not terrible shouts, but we should be looking to construct a firm foundation for the future so we can maintain success for years to come instead of trying to suck what's left out of players who are past their prime.

To be fair he will get a pay rise and Champion League football, he been here five seasons now so good luck to him if he get the move he craves. Would rather he turned them down and stayed with us but it all about climbing the ladder with footballers.
