I'd be embarrassed to be a Newcastle supporter right now, I hope they go down I can't stand Pardew when he said they are in a different league to us what a bell. Now they brought back Kinnear who can't even say the players names and calls their fans thick.

Well he is right there , they are thick.
 
2-3 quality signings would be good, if they are not replacing Fellaini, Heitinga and Baines.

2-3 Alcaraz type signings, with the loss of Neville, Mucha and the others that have been released will be really bad.

So many ways you could take that statement, wait until August when he finally realises what a lying toe rag Kenwright is, and that Moyes has been preaching the party line for the past 6 years. He will think he probably would have been better off at Wigan where at least some of their fans are realistic and don't expect him to pull rabbits out of hats.

have the club confirmed this is happening even. seemed to be some doubt as to whether he was jumping the gun. maybe they got an inkling of how it would go down and have panicked and gonna leave him out to dry. just to keep it on thread... have the Soldado rumours got anything other than wild media guesswork going for them?

don't think its suppose to indicate anything other than he has looked at what he has got, feels he has pinpointed areas to improve and will be looking to make sure they do improve us rather than just spend for sake of it. if he knows his targets then he will ask for the cash and at the moment I am more confident the board will have to agree than they would have done under Moyes cos they cant risk an unhappy manager from the off

You realise we had the fourth best defence in the league? It would be astonishingly difficult (if not impossible) to make changes to one of the league's best defences, with the result that we'd add 16-24% extra onto our points total!

If we're going to add points, it's upfront that it'll be done, not at the back.

not talking about goals conceded but our ability to kill games off when going into the last quarter in charge. key point being more goals on the break,

to be honest I am just thinking of Heitinga as already sold. he has the saved wages in his back pocket already, just question of whether we get couple extra mill transfer fee or he gets rid near end of window
 

If I was the manager right now I would bring in these players, and I don't know why we aren't linked with Bent.

Darren Bent - $6Mill
Leroy Fer - $9Mill
Alcaraz - Free
Scott Sinclair - Loan/If we can get him for under $5Mill why not.

The prices I have put on these players have been what I have been reading a seeing in rumors. Apparently we can spend roughly $20M on players without having to sell this summer so I dont see why we can't go for these players. Especially Darren Bent, he is a boyhood Everton fan and the only thing i can see blocking his move to us is his wages but im sure he will drop them down due to his game time and influence in the past two seasons. I would love to bring Mcmanaman back to the club but I cant see Kenwright digging into his pockets to get him. So I would rather sign these 4 players for some squad depth and new additions to the first team to get us back into Europe.

His Dad was a fan of our style of play but Darren used to have a season ticket for Arsenal (the latter is true)
