If Fellaini went, my preferred choice would be Leroy Fer as a like for like replacement. As for other positions, Bruno Martens Indi (CB), Nacer Chadli (winger/acm) , Dusan Tadic (winger/acm), Wilfred Bony (striker), Adem Maher (acm). That's the realistic ones I feel we have a chance of getting and would improve our team.

Sadly not as clued up on the Belgian league anymore as that league isn't showing on the open channels anymore.

Edit: Filip Djuricic and Alfred Finnbogason of SC Heerenveen are also worth having a look at. Same goes of course for Kevin Strootman and Marco van Ginkel. Sadly those two might not be that 'realistic'

Thanks mate, nice to get the opinion of someone who has watched them more than on youtube montages which are way misleading a lot of times, just from the little i know all the ones you list would bring us something were lacking so fingers crossed Bobby reads this thread ;)

If we were to adopt a 4-3-3 then we'd NEED to buy some midfielders, because apart from Felli, and to a lesser extent Gibson, we don't have the personnel. I would love to see De Guzman and Fer sign for us because they would give us the flexibility to run a 4-3-3, the 4-2-3-1 or the 4-4-2.
 
Negredo's agent has confirmed that a foreign club are in talks. Doubt it's us after also saying that he is looking for a Champions League club.

Wanyama is a damn good player too. Solid as a rock all season (even in the CL). £12m is a bit too much for us, certainly considering we still technically have Fellaini for the same position.

Honda, Fer (If Fellaini does go, which he probably will), some defender and a boss striker. I'll be happy.

I understand the frustrations like but just cos the sh1ite are out splashing silly money on all sorts of european no-marks with fancy surnames doesnt mean we need to panic and do the same

When we're about 2 days from the Norwich game and we've lost fellaini and baines and havent brought anyone in then i might worry like....
 

Wanyama comes from the same league as Naismith, Naismith was as highly regarded in Scotland as Wanyama is and is considered dear as a free transfer , whereas an untried 21 year old from the same league is considered a bargain at 12m.

That's 8m net. Remaining budget spent on unknown Spanish wonderkid and some loans. Haven't seen any of them play but from my experience Bony, Honda and Redmond are beasts on Fifa, Fer is decent on YouTube and Martins Indi is pretty boss on FM.

McGeady is the type of player who would frustrate you, beats a man and then tries to beat them again, also don't think his delivery is great.
