I don't think it matters a great deal about making a big 1st signing. The timings in the transfer market sometimes dictate when he will be able to sign a top quality player. In the meantime he will bolster the squad with some much needed strength so McGeady and others will be welcomed additions to our squad.

McGeady will be Naismith Mk2, everyone will hate him except for the crazed person who will say " He needs to be played in the correct position "

I think it's important to keep your best players. The reason we started well last season was because we didn't sell anyone.

I'd agree normally but if we could replace him with a top striker, winger and cm then I think we'd be better off. We did fine in the games without him last season.

McGeady has pace to burn and can get past a player. If he could work on his final ball he could be a gem and it would mean Miralles could play a more free role which I think would suit him better.

I agree the boy has talent he just hasn't shown it. Our team has always badly lacked pace, with Mirallas, Baines and Coleman now who all have pace to burn, Mcgeady could add to that.

Well Felli will go, Bill has basically admitted it. What we need is for Bobby to have a very good summer of deals in, can't afford to have more than one dud come in or we will go backwards. I accept no manager gets it right 100% of the time but if we sign 4 players this summer we need 3 to be hits.

I hope our clause on Fellaini is along the lines of: "we'll release him for a minimum of £24M, but that price lasts only until 1st July and then it's an auction....or he cant go at all thereafter." We need to give the new manager a couple of months knowing what cash he has to spend and get players in early.

I think, realistically, Fellaini will be gone from Goodison in another fortnight.

If Fellaini goes for the reported £22mil. and we have say £10mil available from increased TV money. I'd expect a massive turnaround in players with an influx of youth.

Would love to replace Fellaini with 2 young CM (Under 25) e.g. Fer, McCarthey etc.. (14 Million? Realistic)

Leaving £16 (Taking some off for wages) to strengthen in other areas.

I don't know if any of you remember but i passed some info on in January from a mate who works at a newspaper. I'll get any info i can this summer.

I´ve just watched a youtube highlights video of McGeady and the lad looks absolute pants.

That´s some doing, managing to look like a pub player in a highlights video.

I really, really hope he´s nowhere near Martinezes plans for the summer.

Suprise, the classic judging a player from YouTube.

Bily looked boss on YouTube, turned out to be awful.

Gibson on the other hand is probably rubbish on YouTube but a cracking player.
