It gets worse, much worse. He has a £6m buy out clause and both Norwich and Swansea have made enquiries but he wants to join Everton.

What a depressing last half hour.

Pretty sure its been said numerous times, he wont be joining Everton for £6m.

While we are apparently in for Kone, Swansea just had a bid accepted for Wilfried Bony for £10m. Bloody appalling!

He´s a great guy, but this might well be his last chance of ever getting to play in the Champions league. I wouldn´t be surprised if he went.

Fantastic idea the Champions league. Not only does it guarantee the same 8-10 teams a ****load of dosh and new fans each season, it also means they have a massive wedge when buying up players from poorer teams. And you know it´ll never be stopped either, since it´s all the neutral fans in places like Sweden and Japan are interested in watching.
