Oh wait there, lets just magically pull £25m and £150k a week wages out of thin air.

Well if the 'bosses' at Anglo Irish Bank can do it.

(The background to that http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2013/jun/24/anglo-irish-bankers-taped-recordings1)

Back to topic, thoughts on more than likely possibility of losing Round, Woods, etc?

Martinez obviously wants his own staff (Graeme Jones, etc) in. I nearly would have expected Round to have gone with Moyes already. Be good to keep Woods though.

Wow, so much to realise, my post was in response to someone talking about FIFA, i'd still imagine the final say on a player will be largely based on their footballing ability that their rating on FM, bloody well hope so anyway.

Yeah i'd imagine it's a case of if their scouts find someone they really rate, they give us a heads up on the guy. Then it's up to us to send our scouts there to see if they agree

Ok lads, pack up your stuff. Stubbs has give us the weekend off. Report back on Monday when everything becomes clear and the new season starts.

Arsenal to sign higuain

Everton to sign kone

Haha when its put like that it does sound depressing doesn't it. Then you've got Norwich who have bought van Wolfswinkel and are on the verge of signing Toivonen from PSV!. Swansea are apparently close to signing Wilfried Bony aswell. I think Kone is a decent player but I think we could of aimed for better.

Not saying for one minute everton would sign this calibre of player but were signing 30yr old who is average instead of add quality even swansea norwich have shown amition signing players I wouldnt of expected them to sign at all I.e bony , toivoien

Why do you think we're linked with Kone? It's because it's what we can afford, I've no idea how much exactly we have to spend but I'm pretty sure we can't move for someone like Bony unless we sell first.

For £5m it's a decent prospect, he's 29, so the majority have already reacted in a negative light but his goal scoring record is 1 in 3, pretty decent if you ask me. And probably better than what we have up front at the moment. I wouldn't be against him signing if it was for a decent price.

Anyone got any news on Fellaini's release clause?

I heard that it has a clause in it, that says the clause stops being a clause on the 15th August 2013. It's written in bold text as well apparently.
