To be fair to Aliadiere, he's looked a totally different player from the one he was at Arsenal in the times I've watched Lorient.


Not that I want us to sign him.
 
I don't honestly believe Kone is better than Anichebe or Jelavic. I think if Vic played a full season for a side like Wigan, he would be in double digits too. Jelavic is misfiring. It's up to Martinez to try and get the best out of him again, he still has his hunger.

I remember watching Marin in the EL against Spurs a few years back and he looked a player. Constant threat and scored a goal or two. I would have took him on loan.

I'm wondering here now whether we would be better off selling Fellaini than keeping him. I think he is a brilliant player and will continue to improve, but we obviously don't have the money to add quality to the team. £22m could do a lot. Saying that, I won't be disappointed to see him in an Everton shirt next year.
 
Have to agree with the shouts to sell Fellaini and replace him with diame. Wouldn't weaken us much but would give us £20m to play with. Which might help Martinez set his sights higher than the likes of Kone.

Niang last year for example just happened to be one of the highest rated youngsters on FM and the next thing you know Everton are in for him

Wow, so much to realise, my post was in response to someone talking about FIFA, i'd still imagine the final say on a player will be largely based on their footballing ability that their rating on FM, bloody well hope so anyway.

He looked awesome in a couple of French league games I watched on ESPN last season surprisingly and has a record of 19 in 34 for Lorient, this from a guy who was released by Championship Middlesbrough.

Your point is perfectly understood. What people are saying is that FM doesn't just make up the numbers they have scouts watching the footballing ability of players and then making judgements.
