Who would take Papiss Cisse? Newcastle are going ahead with playing in shirts sponsored by Wonga despite gambling being against Muslim beliefs. Same applies to Tiote.

Neither did I until I saw the fact that he got 2 goals and 1 assist last season. Oh and that video.

To be fair he was an 18 year old being expected to perform for a big club in the championship who are quite frankly in a mess and have had to sell most of their best players. Played very well towards the end of the season and at 19 years old has already played over 60 games in a tough league.

Was being linked with Man City etc for £7m+ 12 months ago and while he had a tough season he's probably learned a lot in that period.

It's a no risk transfer. England U21 international for £2-3m who could go on to be worth 5 times as much. If Birmingham weren't in such a financial mess they wouldn't be selling for this amount and they wouldn't have sold Butland for so cheaply either (we missed out there!)

I saw Chung Yong Lee at Bolton mentioned as well. How did he get on last season after comnig back from his leg break? Looked great a couple of years ago before the injury and is still only 24.

Looks like Redmand might be the better choice, Chung Lee used to play on the right but now played on the left and prefers the left, so it either one of these. I would go for the younger choice as he can learn from Pienaar.

Your only joking with this comment though, right, awful lot of people mentioning these computer games when it comes to Everton signing actual "real life" footballers.

While most people are very tongue in cheek when they mention Football Manager and such when players are linked, do you realize that FM have a scouting team of well over a 1000, probably much larger than ours? And you do also realize we actually made a deal with them a few years ago to use their scouting database for our own purposes? Just saying that although it is mostly referred to jokingly, checking up players' ratings on FM isn't as ridiculous of a notion as it sounds http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/everton-signs-football-manager-database

Niang last year for example just happened to be one of the highest rated youngsters on FM and the next thing you know Everton are in for him

Marko Marin has gone to Sevilla on a season long loan..... we should have made a move.

He was actually one of the worst players I saw in the league last season. I was truly shocked at just how bad he was. offered nothing and looked lost, not in the way that some players do who need time to adapt.

He made Bilyaletdinov look like Ronaldo
