praying we sign mcgeady will be the first 5 star skill player everton has had on FIFA

Your only joking with this comment though, right, awful lot of people mentioning these computer games when it comes to Everton signing actual "real life" footballers.

So you've watched Kone his whole career and also watched Redmond loads as well ? I don't know how you find the time to watch Everton play.

Everyone on this forum is obsessed with watching people play. It seems you cant form an opinion on someone unless you have watched them through youths to current stage.

No, I haven't. I watched him a large bit last year and wasn't all that impressed. Yes, he had his games where he carried Wigan, but he was an alright player playing for a poor club, it was easy to shine. Look at his previous clubs, struggled in Spain, was just OK in Holland. That's after the fact that he's already 29.

But I never watched him when he was 18, so obviously he is probably the best striker in the Prem and we should totally splash £6m on him.

He won't be that on '14 though will he?

As soon as you sign for Everton EA Sports knock you down by several million points.

That's very true. All our players always seem to be far worse on that game than in reality.
I am surprised that when you choose Everton to play Man United or Chelsea it doesn't have a caption of 'are you sure you want to bring a knife to a gunfight?' on the screen.

Do you know we have Jelavic and Anichebe?

Also when we sub our wingers, Naismith comes on.

Fair enough mate, i understand the need for reinforcements but why buy squad players? Buy a player that will slot in to the XI right away. Pienaar was rubbish towards the end of last season and Mirallas obviously doesn't favor playing on the wing. I want the club to show some intent and add real quality.

Pienaar wasn't rubbish but Redmond could be bought in to develop in to a first teamer. Squad players of real quality are important. So when Anichebe and Jelavic aren't doing it we can bring in Kone. We have a tiny squad and we need to rotate without losing to much ability on the pitch.

Yes, if our first team aren't playing well, we'll rotate them with average players. It doesn't make sense. It's a step backwards.

To see us on the verge of splashing £6m on Kone, £2m on Redmond and a potential couple of million on McGeady whilst Aston Villa are in the running to sign Belhanda for just over 10m Euros, is crazy.

Fer will be based on Fellaini and Martinez might not want him.

Possible, though Fer is in the last year of his contract and so should be available for a good fee for us. I cannot see the logic in passing up a Dutch international who has expressed a desire to play for us. His wages shouldn't be too drastic and I would like us to add him to compliment/rotate with Fellaini, Gibson, Osman and Barkley. We need a big squad to compete.

Just hope the board of directors agree.

Untill we see otherwise, we are working under sizeable financial constraints. 2m for Redmond is a no brainer for me, he's young, good and getting better. McGeady isn't a transfer I want at all but I can see an argument for Kone. They would add competitiveness to our squad. I'd love it if we could sign up 3 £10m players without losing anybody, but I just don't think it's all that likely. We are the club we are at the moment.

Who the **** is this Redmond guy? He looks like a bit of a tit if I'm honest. Typical neck tattooed Jermaine type that your girlfriend fancies and you're hating it up.
