That's some weird old Maths mate.

Just under 5 for Kone and about 4 for McGeady I think.

At just under £9 Million for those two you would still need a drink....
I'm still hoping that we will only sign players better then the ones we have rather than fringe / squad players. Then add some quality to the youth system. Obviously by doing this some of the current first team players become fringe / squad players in due course. One big marque signing really would lift the whole place no end...

To be fair Aliadiere has just come off a very decent season in France, second best striker over there after Ibra last season, but he's 30.

If we got,

Alcaraz - Free
Redmond - 2m
Kone - 4/5m
Mcgeady - 4m

Total - 10/11m

Id be quite pleased with that, we have one striker who is an improvement on ours, 1 player who is young an exciting, 1 player who was hailed as the next prospect and a defender who is very capable, possibly our back up cb.

Kone and Redmond. We'll definitely be in Europe next season.

Two plyers I am completely against and don't believe they will add anything. Kone has had 1 good season.. not even great, alright season. As I previously said, Martinez would have been disappointed if he didn't score 11 times last year. Shocking we are going to pay £6m for that.

As for Redmond, he has done nothing exciting at all yet. Last season he was OK at best. Was so poor at the start of the season he was dropped. Came into form towards end of season but has very little goals and assists to show for it.

Don't believe any of these two will add anything to the starting XI. Very, very poor show Everton, such a lack of ambition.

So you've watched Kone his whole career and also watched Redmond loads as well ? I don't know how you find the time to watch Everton play.

Do you know we have Jelavic and Anichebe?

Also when we sub our wingers, Naismith comes on.

Sky Sports seem to think Nathan Redmond is an almost certain after his agent said he would only go to Everton.
Also linked us with Bolton's chung-yong-lee for 2 million and said Fer to Norwich was premature as he wants to play in the prem (probably not with Norwich if it can be helped).

I'd take all 3. Would be good business for what 10-12m?
