Throw his wallet at Martinez?!

What exactly do you think that would give us? You do know kenwright isn't independently wealthy in a way that can run a premier league football club, don't you? That's the major problem with him!

You know what I mean he isn't rich but he has got a few quid . What I'm saying is he should find every penny to give to roberto . Maybe with moyes he thought he could get away with only giving him 75% of his budget but now I think he should really let loose and give him some funds. He obviously must have some money as runs the club and we not really swimming in major debt

I think we maybe should look at the cheaper options since Negredo definately isn't an option really, maybe someone like Vossen would be worth the slight risk.

Even with the sale of fellaini our budget will not be that.

30m? hahaha.

I agree, Our budget will be the sale of Fellaini.

This extra TV money will be banked to reduce our annual loss.

To REDUCE our annual loss to zero would only require less than HALF of next season's extra tv money. That's not even taking into account all the massive wages that are likely to be off the bill (as much as 250k every week!)

IMHO well have somewhere between 5-10m to spend before any sales this summer. A rarity I know, and counter intuitive based on the last few years, but I'm pretty confudent that this one summer we'll have at least SOME money to spend before sales. Still peanuts compared to rivals, but hey, take what you can get :-P

McManaman wasn't even getting in the Wigan side 6 months ago and now people seem to be suggesting he could be the answer to our right wing problems based on him having a few good games? Bizarre!

If we sell Fellaini we should be spending somewhere in the region of £30m on new players (more if we can shift Heitinga). We need to be buying quality!

I wouldn't want to see Alcaraz lining up for us unless we had injury problems in defence, by all means bring him in as 4th choice centre back but not as our next in line to Jagielka and Distin. McManaman is nothing special and neither is McGeady. There must be literally hundreds of players out there who are better and will be wanting to come play in the premiership and not all of them can go to Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal! (teams who seem to be linked with the similar level of player we should be looking at). Surely with Martinez's connections in Spain and the fact all their teams are skint we should be able to pick up a few bargains from there????

So our budget wont be £30m then, it will be 5-10m? changed your tune.

Not at all, I thought it was pretty self explanatory that I meant once Fellaini is (almost inevitably) sold for his release clause. I actually think the "base budget" could be as high as 15m, but attempting not to get my hopes up.

Heard of him. But don't know much.

Tell me more.

That Dzagoev is out of our league right?

Well, Denis Cheryshev is a 22yr old Russian Winger who has been made to pretty much rot at Real Madrid B and has recently came out and questioned whether his future is with Real Madrid. He only has 1yr left on his contract and if reports are to be believed, Mourinho rejected a bid from us a few months ago.
He's basically what we need IMO, skill, pace, finish. Makes more sense paying £4m for him, than it would Aiden McGeady.

He's with Russia U21's as well if you are interested.

Ah that's where i've heard his name. Real Madrid. Nice one. Think I remember the attempted bid from us too.
