You are badly over rating him. He goes missing ALL the time. Sloppy passes. And gets caught out if position so so often.

All this McCarthy hype reminds me of Rodwell, he is being hyped in the extreme because he is young, British and playing in the Premier League.

Selling Rodwell was a great bit of business.

sort of yeah, but jelavic scored striker's goals, based on instinct and being in the right position. cisse's goals against chelsea were a bit of hit and hope if we're being honest. good technique, but something that rarely comes off unless your bale or ronaldo.

jelavic' goals were more to being good than luck.

Rodwell seems to be progressing well at man city......becoming the player we thought he would and had that one outstanding game towards the end of the season.....granted he was 'over-hyped' when playing for us but he is definitely a 12 mil player......its not like we got a cracking deal selling him....we got the right deal....and so did city..
