Well, Denis Cheryshev is a 22yr old Russian Winger who has been made to pretty much rot at Real Madrid B and has recently came out and questioned whether his future is with Real Madrid. He only has 1yr left on his contract and if reports are to be believed, Mourinho rejected a bid from us a few months ago.
He's basically what we need IMO, skill, pace, finish. Makes more sense paying £4m for him, than it would Aiden McGeady.

He's with Russia U21's as well if you are interested.

In the Real Madrid Castilla side, only ever played one copa del ray game for the first team and got a year left of his deal, I reckon he'll be even cheaper than £4m.

Looks decent, predominantly left footed but good with his right, bit of pace and can take a man on, and looks to have a goal in him aswell. He's young and still got plenty to learn and would be a decent signing for the squad on the cheap.

Not directly linked to us but in the papers today that Papiss Cisse will refuse to play for Newcastle on moral grounds if they use Wonga as their shirt sponsor as agreed. He went off the boil a bit last season but he is fantatstic technically.

Why not mate? Quick, great technique, puts a shift in too. He was played out wide a bit last season which didn't help him. Newcastle have yet to find him a proper "partner" too. I'm not saying it is on but I consider him a realistuc target who would improve our squad.

No, would rather have someone else then Cisse, he is 28 and will have no resale value plus he only got 8 goals in the Premiership, Kone is the same age and got 11 goals and would be cheaper. I would rather have none of these and go for some one younger such as Shane Long.

You are badly over rating him. He goes missing ALL the time. Sloppy passes. And gets caught out if position so so often.

Tbh I thought he was decent and you where under rating him in the few games I watched of wigan then I realised I was watching Maloney so he isn't as good as the hype like.

Cisse probably would not wear our shirt as it promotes a alcoholic drink something which I would imagine he would not want to promote being a practicing Muslim. So if we are making out he could leave due to the wonga sponsorship can't see him signing for us if things like shirt sponsorship is important to him.
