Isn't 3 Wigan players enough though?

You run the risk of unbalancing the locker room and creating cliques if too many of them come over

We already have a similar player in Osman and we have players in the youth squad we can promote

Maybe save that money for January?

Maybe just buy someone who is actually boss rather than James Mccarthy?

We have no money anyway.

Line 1 seems to be a contradiction of Line 2.

Also, how do you know we have no money? I am genuinely asking... I thought we still had quite a chunk left in the kitty?

The Echo have said we've dropped our interest in him.

It's a shame but hopefully we can get a midfielder in like the article says. Things might still change this summer if they buy more forward players or if Moses hasn't been playing by January we might be able to revisit the loan situation.

signed for Galatasaray last month, lid - at least according to his hilarious wikipedia:

Adnan is somewhat the Iraqi Ian Harte, a left-back with a ferocious set piece. He is a tall and physical but fast player, which lends well to Iraq’s counter-attack philosophy.[3]. Ali Adnan bursts from the back straight into the opposite half of the field with some sublime footworks propelling him to go past defenders and midfielders with ease. Always brimming with energy and full of athletism coupled with his unrivaled strength, opponents find it a tough task taming the wild and audacious left-back who is often than not, seen in the third half of the field entertaining viewers with dazzling skills and screamers from long ranges.

chico?

So that's where we're going wrong - we never seem to get the ball into the third half....

wtf

can we just swap fellaini for rooney please and have it done with?

Oh...and can you just drop and £175k a week of your wage request please wazza? Nice one!

Fellaini's talent, belief and uwillingness to play for the team was one of main reasons we were pushing for fourth. just don't get this stuff about his attitude. most foreign players have a much more mercenary attitude because of a greater culture abroad for players being moved on quickly and a media who loves to push for that. His statements always make clear that he wants to stay here if we can come close to success. He is singled out because of his appearance and some of his supposed sulking wouldn't have been noticed if it had been a player with less noticeable appearance. Its also why he was singled out by the opposition, officials and the media, but wasn't hounded out of the league because he does knuckle down and play where he is asked

^^^This, 100% agreed.^

Osman was pretty boss there for a while last season, but then went rubbish again by the end. He has a role to play under Martinez, but I would hope that it is much smaller than it was under ginger bollocks.

dont think RM is finished in the transfer window yet mate, by the sounds of it, he would have taken moses on loan for a year with a view to buy but after signing Kone, is looking the strengthen the midfield. Depending on the player he goes for i dont see much room in the side for osman to start tbh.

I think Martinez will surprise a lot of you by playing Osman all most of the time.
I could see Osman playing the role that Moloney played at Wigan.

With Hibbert right back, he will also bring Neville out of retirement, persuade Felli to stay then play him out of position, fail to sign anyone else, then tell us weve got a brilliant chairman and we will go with what weve got
