****in strange club Everton.

Established premier league team, but skint EVERY single year despite ever increasing TV revenue.

Always having to sell to buy.

Never seeming to make a dint in the £46 million debt? I can't believe for a second that all the clubs revenue goes towards operating costs.

Cardiff, Swansea, Norwich all showing more ambition by outspending us.

Poxy kit and sponsorship deals.

Missing out on some genuine bargains this Summer.

Crap badge.

Embarrassing.

Rant over.

Apart from the poor business side of things, most of the above can be attributed to wages

Yeah we can't afford to pay competitive wages basically.

We don't make as much as money as our peers so even to pay the tenth biggest wages in the league uses all our income. Any less than that and we'd lose anyone of any quality.

I would be quite scared at the prospect of Spurs minus Bale but with 80m burning a hole in their back pocket.

That, imo, would potentially turn them into title challengers.

Should snap Madrid's hand off if they are offered that much.

We are lucky really:

ON THIS DAY - 2002

After just over a year at Arsenal, goalkeeper Richard Wright left Highbury for Everton in a £4.5m deal after failing to oust England number one David Seaman.

Wow, never realised he cost that much. Moyes is a very lucky man that he signed Yobo first otherwise Wright would have been his first signing and remembered a lot more.

"We are hearing reports that Notts County striker Malachi Lavelle-Moore is being lined up by Stoke, Everton and Blackburn."
