Barton? He's hilarious to watch as long as he isn't the one costing your team points. Can't see any worthwhile team going for him, he causes problems wherever he goes.

However it would take Rooney making a massive sacrifice in money. Is he THAT much of a blue!?!?

I'm realistic enough to know this is 95% a no goer....But I'm also a big believer in what it means being a born and bread toffee, which just gives me that 5% hope.

Everton aren't ambitious enough for Rooney, he will want to join a club that wants to win things.

The only chance of him coming to Everton would be on loan, and he'd only entertain such an idea if he considered it to be preferable to sitting on United's bench in the lead up to the World Cup. Otherwise, there's absolutely no chance whatsoever of him coming here.
