He is an absolute unit, shame about his touch.

There's no hate in recognising that Osman is a very poor option as a first team player. He's nowhere near good enough for a starting spot in central midfield. The opposition bypass him with ease.

What kind of bid would it take to pry Bradley from Roma do you think? If we got him and a classy ball-playing MF for the price of Felli I'd be very happy, tbh.

I've mentioned it before - but I think the perfect player for our squad as it stands would be Miralem Pjanic - also from Roma. Would be best played as a no.10 but could easily drop deep if needed. Very creative, quick feet, good touch and vision and a great range of passing. Would be perfect for Martinez' system and would probably cost the same as Bradley - £13-£15 mil(ish). Obviously we'd need money... but i'd rather spend £13 mil on Pjanic than £15 mil on McCarthy who (Although decent) isn't as good as Pjanic and is only a year younger.

Premier League side Everton have made an offer for Hellas Verona’s 21-year-old midfielder Jorginho.

The Brazil born midfielder joined the Gialloblu from Sambonifacese in 2011 and has since greatly impressed with the Bentegodi based side and drawn interest from both Merseyside clubs and he also earned a call up to the Italian under-21 side.

According to Sportitalia, the Toffees have made an offer of €9 million for Jorginho which includes a clause that will give the Scaligeri 20 per cent of any future sale.

The versatile deep-lying playmaker was reported to have been the subject of a bid from Everton’s local rivals Liverpool in early July, although the interest from the Anfield club appears to have fizzled out, putting Roberto Martinez’s side in pole position to secure Jorginho’s signature.

Hadn't we supposedly put a bid in for him a few weeks ago? Think it was the day after we signed Deulofeu that it got mentioned.

Just when I told to myself that the Jorginho rumour was just a one-time rumour. I guess it wasn't.

I actually wouldn't mind having Mohamed Sissoko here.

Similar story came out a couple of weeks back. I'm assumnig it's just a re-hashed version of that one. Looks like a decent player though

About the author of the Jorginho story: Luca Gunby - I'm a 19- year-old Londoner who is currently studying History and Italian at the University of Leeds where I line up for the Italian society calcio team who have enjoyed a relatively successful first season. I support Sampdoria on account of my previous visits to the Marassi, having family in Liguria and my belief that they wear the best shirts in world football. I also support Spurs and I'm a regular attender of matches at White Hart Lane.

I doubt he's got any inside info on transfer activity

We seem to be linked with young holding centre mid be it this Brazilian guy or the loan offer for the juve guy it's very refreshing I feel that we have a manager in place who readily realises what we need...think we will have one/two outgoings personally think jelavic may not stick around even though think he will hit double figures with goals next sesson

He's got his info from Sport Italia mate. An Italian media outlet.

Anyways, i've been crying out for us to sign a playmaker, not sure of how good this lad is, but can't be worse than Osman.
