I always wanted the Texan since Moyes gave him a trial sometime ago. I believe he would be a great hit man for us. Blood & guts. I like his style but so far it's just journo speak. He deffo would push Jela and Vic for a place. Kone remains unknown for me I'm not over the moon until I see how he would fit in for us.

Well sure aside from the fact last year he scored more goals than anyone on our squad (bar Fellaini whom he tied) ... mostly coming off the bench apparently.

7 goals in 29 appearances. I'd say his star is fading fast. On a free I'd take him on a two year contract worth £35k per anno but I think he's better off in MLS or Saudi-Arabia.

I beleive Dempsey is joining an MLS side.

If they have to pay a fee, it won't happen.

If he's coming to visit a club currently in the US training, seems more likely that Roma would be that club. They had interest in him a year or two ago.

He's not fading, didn't really fit at Spurs. Don't really think he fits here either though.

Wouldn't really call it a failure at Spurs. Still hit 7 league goals playing out wide or as an attacking mid. Not the 23 he had with Fulham the season before, but 7 with less playing time isn't awful. Not great. Not bad though.
