Im underwhelmed by his signings so far.

Im peed off that Kone cant play cos hes hungry, hes gonna have to score lots of goals to get back in my good books.
Alcatraatreaxz looks like an injury prone crock.
And the goal we conceded at Blackburn hasnt filled me with confidence in Robles.
The Barca lid should be good, but untill I see him play, who knows, plus, hes going back.

To be fair, he played very well against Vienna. So that leaves me neutral on him atm.

Fair point, that one could be close. A few years ago I might have said yes. Now. Not so sure.

Also, LA has a fair global profile as well due to Golden Balls.

I stand by my larger point that which players we have on the field makes no real difference in terms of anything other than on the field results.

There is NO more money available. This is what the clubs are telling agents and press. It is also what Elstone has told fans. We have to shift the likes of Heitinga and Jelavic or Fellaini (I believe Baines will stay and extend) to spend. More worrying is the fact that the likes of Greg O'Keefe are convinced, based on what they hear from the club, that IF Fellaini went and we got £20m (after Standard's cut) the vast majority would go on the over-priced, over-rated and under-whelming McCarthy. THAT is what I fear about Martinez, not someone like Dempsey who is a top quality and proven international and PL player.

Bloody hell DEM YANKS are out in force.

it happends every time when we are linked with yankee player

To be fair it takes a while to scout players from lesser leagues who have the potential to be good prem players.

I think if Martinez is going to sign 'a Mirallas' (good player low fee) it will likely be next season, or heaven forbid january.

But yeeah I also refuse to believe our entire transfer fee has went on 3 Wigan players. WORLD MARKET BOBBY!

That's what he'd have been doing at Wigan though. Looking for quality for low prices. He should have ideas in mind even if he wouldn't have been able to afford them at Wigan.

I will mention, what I did not expect is a bunch of 30 year old players coming in. I discount Deulofeu as he's never signing permanently. The next player can't be anywhere near 30, for me, or out situation would start to get a bit precarious. We'll always need players with big sell-on value here as long as BK continues to search 24-7.

There is no way on earth we have just blown that money on Wigan players. Surely we are understating our financial clout to help in future transfer negotiations.

No, we really have no more money. With compo for RM, signing fees, agent fees, registration fees etc. we have apparently spent just over £10m (as Robles was apparently €1.5m up front) and the budget was £10-12m. This is the word from the club to multiple sources and whilst there might be a little wriggle room if a great deal came up the sense I have is all we can manage now is a loan or two unless/until we sell. This is still Kenwright's Everton...

Course we do...we've just spent it covering our operating budget deficit (our annual £5-10m loss), starting to nudge the debt down, funky synthetic grass, white nets, trendy new dug-outs and ****e badge designers rather than on fripperies like quality players ;-)
