We basically need a cross between Gibson and Fellaini.

We have enough flair players who can play central.

Barkley, Pienaar, Barcalid, Mirallas, Osman.

If we knew that Felli was defo staying and wouldnt get injured or suspended and Gibson would play 38 League games we would be fine, but the odds on Gibson staying fit and Felli not picking up a suspension are quite remote.

In an ideal world we would buy an utter beast of a DM and a creative door unlocker, but we as I say only have 2 players who could play the "DM" role and plenty of options at AM.

If we need 2 midfielders then that ibrahim guy think hes norwegian got released by city would be good as he is free and then spend 7 million on an attacking mid

...potentially that would be a disaster. In the U20s tournament a postman from Baghdad was running past him like he had wellies on. Can't see him having the responsibility for a key role, especially in games when we are under the cosh.

Suppose so I wouldnt be splashing much cash on a defensive mid though . A free agent or loan would make the most sense there

If we're playing it out from the back we need a dm who gets on the ball LOTS. So either with guile to find space or comfortable getting the ball under pressure and spinning away. Think this position is so important to the passing style.
