I'm sure you have. However, Jo'burg is notoriously scary.

Been around 15 times over last 3 years and wouldn't say it's "notoriously scarey" to be honest. You need to know where to go and not to go, but you can say that about most places.

Booked a week in Tobermory on the Isle of Mull for me and the missus, beginning of September. Looking forward to some peace and tranquility. Had a read about the place on Wikipedia and found that it's where Balamory was filmed lol

Booked to go to Rome in a few weeks.

Any suggestions on excursions/tours?

If you can book the Coliseum in advance, long queues to get in (as you might expect). Iirc you have to queue up to buy a ticket with a time slot on it just across from the Coliseum itself. The Forum is there aswell and cool to walk around. It'll be really hot tho I imagine. Apparently there's a heatwave in Italy atm, and temps have been in the 40s :o Hoping it cools a bit before I go (about ten days time).

Trevi fountain is pretty cool, all lit up blue in the night, gets really busy but quite nice to chill there with friends/fam and enjoy the atmosphere eating Gelato.

Obs the Vatican as well. Again, super busy. Also make sure you dress appropriately, especially any women must have shoulders and upper leg covered or they won't let you in. There's a cool fort on the way if you walk. There's also another cool building just up the road from the Coliseum, forget what it's called.

There's a nice square by the Parthenon with lots of restaurants which is pretty nice place to have lunch.

Anyone ever backpacked around china? If so any advice. I am looking at doing 2 or 3 weeks next year.

Also planning on a trek up Kilimanjaro July or August.

Booked Asia for 5 weeks next summer.

Absolutely buzzing.

Just done 4 weeks round Europe "Interrailing". Despite only actually using the train once. If you happen to ever look at Lake Bled in Slovenia, I say go. It's probably one of the most fantastic places i've ever visited.
