Never been to Japan/S.America though so wouldn't mind ticking those off a non-existent list.

and while i'm at it, @chicoazul who also expressed interest in Argieland... SA is great. been here a little over a year in Asuncion, Paraguay.

been able to fly to Buenos Aires & Mendoza in Argentina, Santiago, Chile and Rio. Did a bus road trip to Curitiba, Brazil as well as Iguazu Falls on the Argie side. every time i check a place off, i learn of more to see.

i've enjoyed everywhere i've been. Argentina particularly as the dollar (and your pound) goes so far down there. their largest bill is 100 pesos, which comes out to about $8 US.

still have plans for Patagonia this summer and Machu Picchu this fall...

if we extend a 3rd year here, hoping to add some Bolivia and Colombia to the list. and maybe Uruguay, though am wary of a nation that has legal weed and idolizes a cannibal. (insert giant walking human-munchie fix joke here. I'm too lazy to come up with one.)

What do you do, if you don't mind me asking?

Visited Croatia and Bosnia this summer. Croatia was absolutely lovely, superb place and really well developed too - no dusty paths or anything and a Lidl around every corner.

Bosnia was brilliant too, only spent a few days there but the Bosniaks love their beer and speak surprisingly good English. Both spots were really cheap too, Bosnia more so. Chatting max £1.20 for a pint and as low as 70p in a few spots about Sarajevo.

beer and wine. and meat.

oh. you mean job?

wife is a teacher. i telecommute for a small business. don't have a lot of cash and she found the loophole to travel the world on our limited income. teaching abroad. i had been working from home for 5 years as it was, so the boss man knew i was dependable - and i'd also become integral to operations, so the move was allowed.

(i manage databases and websites for alumni groups, as well as help with event promotion and publications. )

Japan mate, fabulous experience. Great people, loads of history, spectacular scenery - can thoroughly recommend it.
Russia - Moscow is a must visit, if only for the tour of the Kremlin.
The Seychelles - stunning beaches !!!!!
Africa is a stunning continent with so much diversity in the people. Have been to Nigeria, Egypt, and lived in both Sudan and Ghana.

Heard a lot of things about Japan, would love to see what that's all about. Went to Kenya earlier this year and loved that! Planning on taking about a 10 month trip at some point in the next 5 years...

Went to Munich this summer, one of the best places I've ever been.

Off to the States for Christmas for too.

Planning on doing the Europe via train thing next summer too.

And of course, again, @chicoazul

I'd stay away from interrailing if I was you mate. I tried it for myself a couple of summers ago and there's lots of cheaper ways to do it, unless you want to take slow national rail-esque trains then interrailings brilliant, but if you want to do it on your own terms I'd recommend trying to do it in a car if you have one/are going with someone who has one.

Munich's a brilliant city though, Bavaria in general is a gorgeous part of Germany.

@chicoazul

Croatia's high up on my list, where about did you go? Heard Split is meant to be lovely.
