Nowhere else to post this so I suppose this may be the best place.

Does anyone know any way to look into how many flights have been delayed/cancelled by one airline in a day?

My Mar and Dar were meant to fly home from Spain this morning and got hit with a 12 hour delay. The company, Condor - Operated by Thomas Cook, have cancelled at least 8 flights today. Just looking for a way to prove it.

Why would you complain at a company not letting you fly on a plane that may be broke?

Close to 14 hours in delays with zero communication from the company, relying on Flight Trackers to see whether or not they'd be flying home tonight. Having the flight cancelled twice within a few hours and booking further accommodation, out of pocket without any sort of compensation.

Grounds for a complaint, no?

Looking to go away around christmas (prob for 4/5 days around the 17th). Went to Paris a couple Decembers ago which was lovely, but freezing! Any good tips on somewhere warmer, but not too expensive and still culturally of interest?

Cheers :)

As Esk said, Barcelona. Although this morning I woke not knowing what time it was because the skies were darkened with one hell of a thunderstorm, in general there'll still be lots of sunny days between now and new year here. Completely possible to get a few days in Dec where you're enjoying a beer outside in a tshirt. Plenty to see and do too!

They had to pay for accommodation for themselves?

They did, after checking out earlier like.
They stayed at the airport for 14 hours and then the airline made them book accommodation without help?

I was on a 26 hour delay on Thomas Cook a couple of years ago. It started off five hours then kept on getting longer and longer. My mate who I was flying with was having bets on which disgruntled Englander would flip on the Thomas Cook lad first.

They paid for our accommodation though.

my money would be on you lid. defo you lid.

Aye, they've boxed a flight and will be flying home in a few. Just wanted to see if there's anywhere online to show they've got previous.
If it's over a certain amount of hours in Europe then they're entitled to a refund for the one way flight cost they choose to cancel their flight. So they'll get back money for that, as it's optional I think you quit your right of accommodation though.

EU rules are boss.
