Took my lad to some play centre in New Brighton at the weekend.

Other than the strong stench of BO, people looking like they cut their hair using nail clippers and I'm pretty sure one bird had a pair of Reebok Classic on, it was alright.

One of the lads is from the Wirral (yeah, we bully him for it), and he was saying that they're trying to create and I'm paraphrasing here "the Lark Lane of New Brighton". Not sure which road it will be, but I think it's an attempt to put some decent bars over there to tempt people to go.

The shops on the front are ridiculous though. Where Morrisons and all that are.

Nothing against them being there (kind of) but why did they put the back of them facing the sea? Kind of ruins the seaside mood when all you can see is a staff member from home and bargain having a smoke behind the bins.
