Not on this occasion no. Plus there's absolutely no way a club like Bournemouth would pay the obvious insane wedge Walcott will be wanting.

I'm very used to that and have been for a number of seasons.

But I find it highly unlikely that Bournemouth would pay Walcott's £120k-ish a week. And we are so dumb, we'll probably offer him more.

To me this move is all dependent on Walcott's attitude. If he is here because he is hungry to play games and also try and get back into the England squad then it will be a good signing. If he is here to pick up his last lucrative contract with little desire to win then he isn't what we need. I hope it is the former.

Maybe so, but it's defo a sign of the times, battling with the Bournmouth's of this world, which is hard to stomach.

Fit as a fiddle apparently. *Just* 380 days out injured in the last four seasons with cruciate ligament ruptures, hamstring injuries and calf strains. Easily worth the risk of £20M+....

On Soccer Saturday he actually said Walcott would do well at Everton but he should go to Bournemouth (or Southampton) so his kids could go to school in North Hampshire and not have to move up north! In short...he’s an idiot
