Don't think he's amazing, but he'd be a decent signing, and more the type of signing that we need to be making to make steady progress in my opinion. He's proven in the PL and has played at a bigger club with regular Champions League experience and has won trophies. Something that the vast majority of our singings over the last 2 seasons lack: Keane, Bolasie, Gana, Sigurdsson etc.

His scoring record is way better than what we have from our wide players currently and he has pace. At 28 he should be around his peak years as well.

Hope we sign him.

He's a direct, massive upgrade on Lennon and certainly Mirallas.

Sure, not the best, flattered to deceive, but for the above reason alone it's worth bringing him in. Also offers a Plan B as a striker if need be too.

We don’t get to sign players in their prime with proven records and prem experience, who also don’t have something to prove, because they don’t become available.
