Got doubts but mainly due to a paranoa about anything BFS touces or is involved in deals with.

Overall though, he's considerably better than anything we have in a similar position, along with Tosun gives us two threats as long as we utilise both, but that would mean actually attacking teams and would require probably 2-3 additions in midfield/defence for BFS to even consider doing... (left back, centre back and a centre mid)

We have a squad of players who should be pushing for Europe and in the knock out stages this season. We aren't recouping what we are spending and seeing any success. We can keep playing this game of catch up for years and end up in a bad way.

On paper we look great, practically we are diabolical and a team that has no chemistry amongst them.

The worst thing we can do is throw money around. We only need a LB now, just leave it at that.

I think Moshiri is insane and thinks splashing money on average players is going to be a quick scheme to get us into Europe again. When it doesn't happen he sacks the manager.

He has no business plan or strategy for this so called project. It's a a car crash.

Actually, that’s not true at all. Having the means to go for short term fixes is often what sets successfull clubs apart. van Persie was 29 when Utd bought him. It was short term, but his goals won them the league.
It’s the incessant long term perspective that kills club imho, or at least keeps them unsuccessful. You see plenty of clubs, Everton included, harping on about planning for the future with elaborate youth policies and restrictions on wages, fees etc. Problem is that if you’re always planning for tomorrow you’re never good enough for the present.

Well that is because the biggest/richest clubs can attract world class players at peak age.

If we had the money to sign Messi/Hazard obviously get it done.

Players who are being got rid of by big clubs, or players who have never made it to the top - at huge prices - no.

Hopefully, one day, he’ll score as many goals as Grant Holt in a season in the Prem
Check out his stat for last season ... he had great stats
Even less respect for this speed demon now. 28 year old turning down CL footy in favour of an easy pay day

He wasn’t getting any footy
He is coming to us to fight for a World Cup spot

No we don't.

No we don't.

The end.

or maybe he doesn't want to move his young family to a different country, and stay in the best league in the world to prove himself and earn his place in the world cup squad

and also, Dortmund aren't in the champions league either

We don't, no team on the planet with Martina and Williams/Jagileka in the back four is challenging for anything.

On paper we look great,

Again, we don't, we just look like a collection of ageing directionless knobheads.

We only need a LB now, just leave it at that.

We need another centre back as well, Holgates emergence has meant that we probably just need 1 for now rather than a couple.

I think Moshiri is insane

Agreed

Not sure if this has been posted already but.........................................

WALCOTT SET FOR EVERTON MEDICAL

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has arrived on Merseyside and could become an Everton player later on Tuesday, according to Sky sources.

If negotiations continue to make progress this afternoon, the 28-year old winger could begin a medical at the club’s Finch Farm training HQ on Tuesday evening.

Since the turn of the year, Everton have overtaken Southampton in the race for the player's signature.

SSN understands that the Merseyside club’s ambition and spending power and Walcott’s desire to work with manager Sam Allardyce have been the key reasons for his decision to head to the North West.

Dortmund were also keen to sign Walcott, but the desire to play for Big Sam at Goodison proved decisive.

Definitely need a left-back mate but Sam's organisation doesn't require personnel as such - just a structure that everyone can buy into and is good enough to fulfil their roles.

We've been caught out recently by silly individual errors creeping back in, namely as a result of rotation that to a point was forced upon us, but also rotation that Sam didn't need to do (Williams and Holgate need to be the starting CB's, for example).
