“Dortmund were also keen to sign Walcott, but the desire to play for Big Sam at Goodison proved decisive.”

HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
if it was all about money and an easy life he would have just stayed where he was and run his contract down

Even less respect for this speed demon now. 28 year old turning down CL footy in favour of an easy pay day

I have always enjoyed your banter on here Chris but you are really getting a bit OTT with the captain comedown stuff.

Try cheering up a touch, I know it’s January, wet, cold and our football team are dung, but let’s try and cheer up a bit old pal ;)

Think this is a poor move.

We need younger wingers in the side this guy is approaching 30 and is way past his best. This is why we keep failing

Hello negative Nancy, Walcott is far from being past his best, 19 goals last season proves that. The lad has a point to prove and a World Cup to earn a place at, 20m will prove to be an absolute bargain

I'd love that to be the case. But truth is, just pushes Lennon back to the bench, with Lookman and Vlasic even further behind.
Unless he's sold, which for his sake more than anything I hope happens to be honest. He'd be a good player for a lower league side for sure.

My main concern is that we play nothing like Arsenal so he could end up being another Bolasie who runs dead fast but doesn't do much else for us.

We're really struggling to build play and be creative in possession. Rooney is the only one we have who can pick a decent ball forward.

I have to agree with you here. Lots of poor decisions over a number of years has put us in the position we are in. As far as I'm concerned we are S till making bad ones. This is the worst I have seen us in 40 years!
I have been supporting Everton since the 1970s. I don't think this is even in the top 100 bad decisions in that time.

A forward in the prime years of his career with loads of pace and a good goal scoring record and that is the worst decision you have seen in 40 years. I find that hard to believe.

I don't know about you, but I feel Walnut will be a great addition to our squad. Exciting arrival for me.
