He's only reached double figures in the league TWICE playing for Arsenal????
Mate, in the last 10 years do you know how many players have scored 10 premier goals or more in a season for Everton?.

Five.

Rooney this season, Lukaku managed it 4 times, and Fellaini, Saha and Yukabu all managed it once. Three of those players did it as our main focal striker.

In the past 7 seasons (since Walcott turned 21) he would have been in Evertons top 3 scorers each season, topping it twice. Now that's despite being a "sicknote" and not having penalty and set piece duties.

I haven't looked into the figures but I suspect he would also have been pretty high on our assist list too.

Now I'm not saying that Walcott is the answer to our problems, and I have a lot of concerns over this signing. But over recent years, and especially this one, we haven't exactly been blessed with players of his quality and there's no doubt he does add some much needed pace (and goals) to the squad.

They’re making one of those boss videos. Probably loads of clips of Arsene Wenger and Sven Goran Eriksson along with scenery from Germany and the south coast.
Aye, someone phone up Crunksey for some boss Grim music to go with it, it will trend on Twitter and we'll win the likes on Facebook for a couple of hours so the news will HAVE to report it and justify the whole transfer.

I mean, he doesn't have to even play after that or anything, just as long and the name gets associated with Crunksey

But you've missed the key point there.

He was playing for one of the most attacking sides in the league - not something you could level at Everton very often - and only managed to get into double figures twice in the league.

Your example is a bit daft, particularly as you admit An Everton Player managed 7 times in the same period what Walcott only managed twice .....

Fellaini, not on penalties

Saha, not on penalties

And I would think for Yakubu / Lukaku they would have shared them with Arteta / Baines etc etc

What will be an acceptable start for Theo for the remainder of the season?
4/5 goals
3/4 assists??
Stay injury free

In 15 games... 5-7 goals plus showing us obvious signs of improvement in attack and causing teams to sit deeper. Not arsed about assists, as most times they could be anything from taking on nine players and setting the striker up for a sitter, to getting a lucky toey onto a ball which somehow makes its way through to the attacker who then does an outrageous piece of skill to slot home.
