.....we were 2-0 up and our RB was the furthest player up the pitch when Fabrigas launched the pass. Even on the park on a Sunday, you pull your full backs back and don't take risks. Chelsea were going to come at us and we had perfect players to defend and hit them on the break. Instead, Stones gets pulled into RB space and we have no cover for a long ball. Basic at any level.

You could also argue Their manager made two changes and ours sat on his hands - but that first goal was two experienced players messing up big time and it got chelsea back in the game a keeper who is glued to his line does not inspire confidence in any defence even ours!

Astute coaches would have blended jags back in gently he had a very good fiorst half v chelsea so when we went 2-0 up why not replace him with Mori or even better Robles with Howard?

He plays, defenders get more nervous, he plays we concede from his errors, he's like playing a kid in goal except without the athletic or acrobatic ability, he doesn't shout or arrange his defense, he's nervous and on edge and it shows, and spreads to the defence.

I know you have played the game, I played at a low youth level at centre half believe me if your Keeper is poor on crosses coming out to command his area he got bleeping told not by the manager, but by the defence they seem scared to say boo to super Timmy!
When Robles played he sent a bad ball to Coleman on the touchline - coleman went mad at hem robles put his arm up to acknowledge the fact he had messed up with humour - I do not see that when tim plays his distribution as so poor, the defence do look uncomfortable with Timmy there imo!!

Coaches can't know if their Cb is gonna let it bounce and their keepers going to be slow of his line then bottle the challenge
