Yeh I think he's a good prospect. I am biased towards defensive midfielders though but liked him from his England apps. Plus we really need a new defensive mid.

It seems like the sort of signing we have was ted the club to have been made for a long time but haven't.

There's often a lot of young talent in "top" teams squads, that needs to be given an opportunity. I certainly hope it's a new direction of travel.

It feels like it's both things. Apparently we have been scouting him for a while. Maybe on the enquiry Villa have mentioned about something mutually agreeable.
