Kenwright has said from the start if theres a takeover bid and its in the interest of EFC he will sell, i think he has tried hard to keep us funded but simply has no more money, cant blame him for that surely ?

Been saying this for ages. Of course you'll get his usual sidekicks claiming that he stood in the boys pen and wants the best for Everton and always tells the truth.

He's gonna ruin this club and let all the hard work put in by the players and the best manager we've had since Kendall go to waste.
Yeah, We'd be better off with some Yanks like theshite across the park have:o He'd love to sell the Club to a multi millionaire and let them take the Club on to greater heights, BUT nobody wants too? He can't just walk away, Yes He did stand in the boys pen and Yes He is a true Blue. Do you lot remember when we had a money grabbing redshite in charge? Well it was Bill Kenwright who shown Johnson the door and begged stoll and borrowed to get Everton FC out of the dirty redshites grip. He's a True Blue blooded Evertonian like you and me and he wants only the best for this great Club as far as I can see, and until some rich Arab, Indian, Russki, whatever comes along He's the best we've got, so get off he's back and give some support to a fellow BLUE(y)

As ive already said, i respect the work hes done and this is by no means a bash Bill thread, sorry it came out that way. The man has saved this club, no doubt, he maybe could have done a little more and i have never waived in my support of him untill now. I just think nows the time to go.

Hes not doing ALL he can to attract investment, im sure a few people have come to him over the years and it centres on him wanting their money, but not letting them have control. Im not going to go on about it too much, ive said my bit. Now i will wait till the Summer, i wont even moan then, because if hes still in charge we will not be spending any money unless we sell.

The question I want to know is how much control would we be willing to give away. Would you allow the new owners to charge as much for tickets as they liked? Would you allow them to rack up as much debt as they liked? Would you allow them to sign over the club's assets into their name? Would you allow them to strip off a percentage of turnover? Would you make it possble for any true business investor to make as much out of the club as possible if it runs the risk of damaging it?

If I was in Kenwright's position my list of guarantees I'd need would be so long that I'd never get to sell to anyone who isn't an Evertonian.

Some good points there Blue(y) But I don't know if there are any Evertonians with that kind of money apart from Paul McCartney? and he wouldn't part with steam off he's you know what:unsure:

That 'dirty redshite' was aided and abetted by Kenwright, unless I missed Bill's revolt against Hamperman's ownership of the club? Johnson and Bill remained friends after the change of ownership - BK attended PJs daughter's wedding, for example - and Bill wouldn't hear a bad word said about Johnson.

If we're going to do history, let's get a few of the basic facts right.

There are no such thing as a first choice for places. You have to earn it.

That's what Baines has done.

Thing is though i dont think he has, he has got lucky that we have gone on a good run since he came in, he has contributed little to this (although he did have a decent game in the 1st derby)

He's helped keep clean sheets and he's created goals, What more do you want?

The goals we have conceded haven't been his fault so you can't blame him for that, he's played to a good level in every game.

I wouldnt mention Newcastle, he cost us the equaliser in that game!

Trying to change the subject?

As I said he's created goals and he's helped keep clean sheets, he's contributed alot on this good run.

He's added a new dimension to our game and has very rarely been beaten. Moyes knows this and he's in the team on merit, Yobo has been on the bench for four to five games now.
