Baines is in the team on merit, he took his chance and has shown some good form. If he keeps it up he'll stay in the team, simple as really. At the moment he is first choice, Yobo has been on the bench for 4/5 games now.
No one thought Jags was going to stay, he's done just that. He's our most reliable defender now and has been for a good while. Hopefully the same happens to Baines.

The quality of crosses Leighton has been putting in are amazing. Everybody in the defence has earned their place and are fighting hard to retain it.
Joey can see this, hes not stupid, he knows Moyes cant make any changes, he wouldnt want him too. If the shoe was on the other foot he would be pissed off if Moyes dropped him if he was playing as well. Baines waited for his chance, he kept his head down and whenever interviewed he never moaned, he never asked to leave and he declared he was happy and he must wait for his chance.

Thats just it, i respect the work he has done, i will be forever grateful, hes lived us up, hes made us proud, but even he has admitted he cant take us any further, even he has admitted that hes out his depth. Yes the whole world is skint, thats why i was saying he should stop being greedy and sell us at a price close to our value, instead of wanting to make a big fat profit.

Actually quite like Bill, as an honest person and die hard blue. But there comes a time when you have to do the right thing. With the right backing and financial imput, Everton could progress onto greater things and actually start competing again at all levels and challanging for major honours.
