I can ask Miley Cyrus to go on a date with me.

Theres no incentive for the PL to want to do this. By doing it, they would be saying their own processes are flawed.
That's the smart thinking. And as long as it stays in-house and no massive waves are made over it then it goes away. But I just have a slight fear of politics rearing its ugly head.

If in the unlikely event the PL admitted they were wrong, it would be awful for them. It could see the resolution of the PL. It would be a huge scandal. There is no incentive for them to do that.

Even if they did though, it would not affect EFC. You would then be failing a PL club, by the rules of an institution that would admitted to being corrupt. We would just be another victim.

The likely outcome is, that these rules get phased out soon, for a different standard of rules anyway.

Isn't that already happening with the new wages to turnover rule mate?

Problem is the powers that be, FA For example won't want this as it could open up so many cans of worms if Everton then played a what about them type card.
A president has been set, whatever we have done clubs have done for years, with no come back.
Whoever gets relegated deserves to go for being worse then we were at football

Everton dont even have to do that really mate.

They can see, we followed the rules that were set by the PL, were signed off by the PL, and went out of our way to communicate to prove we were following the rules.

The two crying arse clubs case - such as it is - is against the PL for an agreement with Everton over profitability & sustainability.

There can be no points deduction or fine of the club. Everton will have all the paper work in relation to that. The PL are in the firing line, if any body is.

The Yanks who own Burnley and Leeds know they can only embarrass the PL and that's what they're trying to do to get more parachute payment cash (which is why you'll see the club that saves themselves on Sunday quietly drop out of any potential action).

Nothing to do with us this.

To be on the safe side the PL should relegate both of them….

Difficult to see for what ends though. I mean, this government might talk big, but are quite light on actions.

Essentially their only punishment can be towards the PL, not a club. We would be a victim of their incompetence as much as anyone.

City and Chelsea have blatantly broken rules. Nothing will happen. Otherwise it can go to court, the last thing the PL money grabbers want is finances being scrutinized across the board.

As much as we’ve committed an offence we’ve wrote off so much, that it won’t make it to court.

It’s desperate times, and they call for desperate measures. So it’s a shame Burnley and Leeds have stopped as low, but not our problem.
