I have not. I don't and never will subscribe to any sport TV as I love sport, and TV money has been used to destroy it and call it entertainment where mercenaries and cheats fill the game and the same old top selling brands always float to the top.
My issue isn't against any of the personalities, I'm rubbish at remembering names of people or recognising celebrities and presenters either. I just have zero interest - an this extends to any men presenting football too.
Ive dipped into this conversation because I am finding myself concerned that, as it seems to me, more and more balance has shifted beyond an expected and reasonable equality towards an increasingly female dominated media. Meanwhile anybody who observes and comments on this inequality is immediately automatically shot down using buzz phrases such as "misogynist" or "incel" which symies debate and drags it down to the level of schoolyard name calling without any substance.
Here we are during lunch at a test match and my radio is mainly women talking about the women's game, rather than the match at hand. I didn't listen yestersay, because ODI doesn't interest me at all, male or female, but was there much conversation about the men's game during coverage of the women's game yesterday?
Chris going full on incel on a Wednesday morning

What you are describing then is positive discrimination. In my view any discrimination is wrong and works away from a meritocracy that we should have, in order to tick off political equality spreadsheets.Yes, it can seem that the balance has shifted away from the white middle aged man, however this really is a short term necessity in order to create a level playing field for the next generation. It's a short term pain for a long term gain.
Currently, 99% of the experience in football punditry is in male hands, so any female breaking through has to be either very very good or very very lucky. Men just have to be competent, because, historically there have been so many roles for men to fill. By artificially increasing the number of roles taken by females, it allows a higher number of them to become competent and to ultimately compete with competent men for those roles on an equal footing.
In 10 or 20 years time, there will be a sufficient number of female pundits with adequate skills and experience that they will compete with men for those roles on an equal footing. Until then, we are just unlucky enough to be the generation of white men that are not being given an easy ride like every generation before us.
We will survive, and football punditry will be all the better for it.
Embrace it, your children will thank you for it
I was quite rightly hoping for some chat about the men's game. Maybe an interview with a retired legend or wicket keeper ... like they uses to do - to inform and entertain those who have loved the game for decades.I turned it off at lunch as I haven’t been following the womens ashes.
Why didn’t you?

On and off ... mowing the lawn, repairing a fence, fixing a bearing.....They haven’t stopped doing any of this.
Have you listened to the coverage throughout the rest of the day?
Nobody is questioning their ability to talk football, just the plain fact that they are having two women presenting the Premier league and two the champions league. It is diversity taken too far just to try and keep the woke snowflakes happy. In the spirit of conversation and going back to the topic in hand, have you watched any of the women in question that are going to be on TNT? Laura Woods is an incredibly talented presenter as is Jules Breach. I listen to The Football Ramble and Jules is on that a lot and she's brilliant. I can't say I've seen a lot of Lynsey Hipgrave or Reshmin Chowdhury so will wait and see with them. I will be impressed if they can be any worse than Jake Humphrey or say Geoff Shreeves.
What a load of garbage, women don't have to be "very good or very lucky" to get the opportunity presenting mens football these days, they just have to have finger nails and boobs and they are in.Yes, it can seem that the balance has shifted away from the white middle aged man, however this really is a short term necessity in order to create a level playing field for the next generation.
