Today’s Football 2020/21 Season

I couldn’t give a stuff about Arteta, Hasenhuttl, or any of these other managers. The reason it relates to Everton though is because every time Ancelotti fails to win a game, there’s a load of traffic on here saying why (insert whichever manager has just won a game and is doing well here) would have been a better choice for Everton. Last season we had apparently made the wrong choice and should have gone for Arteta, this season it’s any of Hasenhuttl, Bielsa, Nuno (apart from when they lose). They all go through bad patches though, every manager does yet when Ancelotti has them he’s apparently yesterday’s man whereas when one of the flavour of the month candidates has them then it’s not discussed because we’re too busy talking about which new flavour of the month would have been a better choice than Ancelotti.
Fair enough, I think it's a very small minority you're referring to, there's not exactly a lot of people calling for Carlo to be sacked or that we made a mistake bringing him in, not as far as I can see anyway.

Sort of, but Suarez said it aggressively and repeatedly to his face in order to abuse him. So the context is very very different. The word is used affectionately in parts of South America. I also think punishment is different for writing and saying stuff. He's just thanking someone. Who made a picture for him.

Kopites will be up in arms tho

Top 3 are probably going to be the usual suspects but 4-6 has never looked more open to so many. I suppose, by the end of 2020, some will drop back. At the very least be need to beat Burnley on Saturday.
crazy thing was if we would have beat Leeds, a win at Burnley would have put us top for a few hours, thats how tight it all is. despite our recent bad run. we just have to stop it and stop droping down the league slowly

spot on - what's as disappointing is a certain player on talk sport this morning saying that players should be making their own call on whether they should stay on the pitch or not.
Yep, Doctor Troy passed his qualifications in Record speed during Lockdown, as said yesterday players with bad head Injury should auto be subbed like it or not, but how the Like's of Deeney can be on Radio Full time is it [dont know] while he is still actually a player shouldnt be allowed for me

Still can't believe that they kept Luiz on. Just negligence.

Don't see it that way to be fair. They're professionals and are with the players constantly. The manager isn't going to force a player to play either so it's the medical team that make the assessment.

If the medical staff in the league have an issue with any restrictions imposed with head injuries, then I'm sure they'd go to the league or FA and get them changed asap IMO.

These things happen in contact sports.

There's a bit of both in that regard. If you look at boxing, it's the ref talking to the boxer making a call whether or not they're fit to carry on even if they've had half their brains scatters across the canvas.
