Todd Boehly. A man...who wants an all-star game.

This is a great idea imo. I think the English fans who are against this, are pretty stubborn and backwards and it's no wonder why football is so backwards on so many things such as introduction of basic technology such as VAR.

How much revenue does the all star game bring in to MLS?

It's too bad the international calendar is stuffed with Nations League now. Using a friendly to raise money for non-league might actually work.

How about they take a decent (bigger) percentage of the TV/Sponsorship money that they already get and then give that to grassroots football. There is easily enough money already in the game to sit and try to think of silly ideas to raise funds to go to grassroots. I reckon they would get more money just by taking 1% of the revenue that is already there than some kickabout where nobody is arsed and the 'entertainment' value is zero.

I would imagine the Beyoncé gig at half time brings in quite a lot mate. Take note, Premier League.

I did actually try to get into American Football once, I am a sports junkie and thought, why not give it a try. I watched one full game, the last 2 minutes lasted about 40 minutes, gave up.

About 2 years later I decided to give it another go, it was Thanksgiving so turned over to Sky Sports to see what was going on. I turned over to Nickelback playing in the middle of the pitch, they were just finishing, so it stayed on but the 2nd half was delayed because they had issues with getting the large stage off the pitch, that is when it went off and stayed off.

Read their owner is trying to buy a club in Portugal. Personally think the idea of these multi club franchises is pretty disgraceful. Know city owners own multiple clubs. Shouldn’t really be allowed in my opinion as football moves inevitably towards super club franchises and the super league. Struggle to

While it may not be the greatest idea logistically at least he was thinking of ways to help fund the lower leagues.

I've got a great idea for that. Instead of exploiting your players for some meaningless knockabouts, double the percentage of Premier League TV money that goes to the lower leagues from 1% to 2% and, hey presto, you've increased the funding 100%.

They can have that idea for free.

There was some talk on the radio earlier was one of the problems Tuchel was having was him trying to stick his nose in on his job too, sounds like a crank

He spoke about the multi-ownership model as well. It's fairly clear that he would view a club in Portugal as a Porto or Benfica - a place to develop talent, where he can get the kids into the Champions League rather than have them moldering on the bench.

It's smart, but I agree that it shouldn't be legal.

Porto and Benfica have a bigger fan base than Chelsea. Would likely be a mid table team in the capital like Estoril

Like the idea of raising money for the lower clubs but we would need an incentive for the players to give it all.

2 players max from each club, what would the North line up be? Let's have fun
