We need another CM so if the manager wants him then fair enough. I don't think he is that bad given Man Utd has a terrible season by their standard.
 
My initial feeling is it wouldn't be a good signing, but then I had misgivings about Gibson (proved slightly wrong) and Barry (proved overwhelmingly wrong). The thing with Cleverley is Martinez has worked with him previously, knows what he's all about, and probably does have the coaching ability to get more out of him. Depending on the fee, it might be okay. Put it this way, I'd rather have Cleverley than Rodwell, simply because Cleverley isn't heavily injury prone.
 
I think it's paper talk. He did do alright at Wigan but I don't think he quite knows what his role is. Whoever the new United manager is will be likely to want to bring in midfield reinforcements and Cleverley could be available on loan to help rebuild his confidence. He'd be a decent alternative to Osman for us.

I will never understand the british obsession with stats in football.
According to stats, Iniesta is sh** and Dempsey is fuc****g awesome.

With Gibson back involved I don't think it's as much of a priority. I'd rather we got 2 strikers.
 
Barry on a permanent, Gibson fit again, McCarthy and rodwell on loan. Then to an extent ossie and Barkley. We are ok in that position thanks
