Yeah and I hope we don't sign that McCarthy guy from Wigan, he's totally gash and Martinez MUST be wrong about him. Oh, hang on...

Believe mate, simple as that really, if theirs a mistake made by Bobby i doubt it will be with a young player he's worked with already

Haven't been that impressed with him for Man U or England. However, I recall he was highly thought of when at Wigan and as we all know Roberto was involved in his development. So I'd have to back his judgement if he goes for him.
 
I think as fans we have to widen our mindset, one thing Martinez had done is not form a team but a squad - almost everyone has contributed at a point - which is a wonderful thing and prob something we have never seen in a modern era. I always said to qualify for the CL or win a trophy you needed a squad - the evidance is there in terms of our points tally this season.

If we are fighting on a number of fronts next season we need to expand the group, it needs expanding in a number of areas to cope with the demands and potential losses of loan players. The profile of player we will need to require to this is young, potential to improve who are adaptable. If Martinez rates the kid you can do worse then adding someone to the ranks, who has one the league and has European expierence and someone our manager has an insight into his game and a pre-existing relationship.
 

Cleverley was one of three United players fined and given extra training for going on a night out TEN DAYS before Uniteds next match. And to think that a few years ago many posters on Everton forums were praising Moyes' man management skills. Cleverley obviously had a difficult time under Moyes, as did many United players. Well paid footballers, most of whom have an ego of some sort, it kind of comes with the talent, need top class man management. Moyes was not capable of that. Martinez is one of the best in the league at it. Enough said.
