I would never boo a player despite personal feelings about them. But theres those out there who will as soon as he makes his first misplaced pass
He's just done something you rarely see these days, he's been under immense pressure from his parent club and Villa to sign for 8m, he's stuck two's up to the lot of them and signed here on a free, because he considers us to be the club for him.

We all get behind him, that should go without saying, Jesus, we are all acting like he's a liability, a good season here and his value is 10m+.

And he cost us nothing FFS.

Not really you see it quite alot.

Shows what he thinks of our club and the potential we have not only next season, but in the near future. Many options for him, but he feels Everton is the place for him to further his career. Hopefully it works out, think he can be a real solid player for us.

- Age 25
- Won trophies
- Decent player, capped for England
- On a free
- Lowers the average of the side
- Chose us over numerous other Prem team.
- A signing made in the first week of June.

You can't hope for any more than that.

I'm relatively pleased and will support the lad.

Will give him a chance but not a signing that excites me given the season just gone. Hope he proves me wrong.

I kinda said this before he signed, if its the only signing we make this Summer I will be a very unhappy fan.

Its a position I personally think we are heavily stocked in, but thats if hes played where I think he should be, DM/CM.

Still 2 months of the window left, not the best start, but guess we see how this pans out.

No major issue with the player, more the position.

Name me a single club that is more stacked than we are at the central midfielder inexplicably platooned out wide position.
/Seriously though, anytime you can take a key player off a relegation rival you have to pull the trigger.

Actually I like the signing. He'll be pretty boss playing the style of football that Bawb wants to play. That being said I think he'll be lost if we have to continue to play in the counterattacking style that we did from Jan-May.

So pumped to get in a really decent signing and so early in the window. The window hasn't even opened FFS

I think everyone except the blue kipper (BAWK) contingent is happy with this signing.
