Love his bit about Villa having a 'better' history than Everton.

Regarding trophies won, they probably have won more.

They have won the Cup on about seven occasions and the League Cup three or four times.

Plus they have won the European Cup......an honour I would dearly love to have on our roll of honour.

They have won the League about seven times to our nine, I think, albeit we have won four since the last time they won it.

They have been around the Football League since the getgo and have a better ground than us and around about the same average attendance over the last number of years.

So whilst I would not concur with his sentiments about their "history" being better than ours, neither would I get involved in an argument with anyone arguing the contrary.

Tom Cleverley has won more Champions League matches than Manchester City have in their history

Tom Cleveley has become a joke figure in football, but the stats apparently show Manchester City should be an even bigger laughing stock when it comes to the Champions League.
City slipped up against CSKA Moscow last night, with their dreadful form in Europe’s elite club competition continuing, and after the game this incredible stat came out on Twitter.
Cleverley, currently on-loan at Aston Villa from Manchester United, won more Champions League matches while at United – than City have in their history.
The stat is distorted a little as City haven’t been playing in the competition for long, but Cleverley wasn’t a regular at Old Trafford, so there.
Poor City.

They've also been relegated more than us. When was the last time Villa averaged more than 50k per game per season? They never have.

When was the last time we won the European Cup?? We never have.

Villa have got a great history like us. It's an article by a 14 year old fan who in his lifetime has not seen Villa or Everton win a trophy. He will look at the honours list and see they have more honours than us.

I was 6.

16 at Wembley in 95, I didn't expect that to be the last trophy we won in a long time.
Yeah I'd have been 18 in 95. Remember celebrating the win but, if I'd have known how long it would take to win another one, I'd have probably celebrated a lot harder
