What i was impressed with was how he was always looking at what pass to make before he even received the ball, that way he was always able to release it quickly. Like i said in the match thread, his ability to release it quickly will greatly benefit Rom, Deulofeu and Mirallas.

He was constantly doing that under Sherwood at Villa - receive the ball, play a one touch short pass to a teammate and then would run into space to receive it back. Think Baines will enjoy linking up with him.

Neat and tidy sums it up for me, kept the play moving with quick forward balls and he did some good tackles. But I've always been fairly pro Cleverley am unlikely to have seen his flaws tbh.

Don't think @orly was his biggest fan prior to his signing, might get a more balanced view from him.
