I think he's going to be a huge player next season. He has a lot of quality and can play more comfortably across the half way line than Barry or McCarthy. He's definitely the new Osman.

Then they will have to think of somebody else who isn't good enough for Everton.
Makes us far less reliant on Barry and Gibson... fingers crossed.
Maybe a 4-1-4-1? McCarthy sat in front of the back four, Clev and Barkley as the central pair directly ahead of him? Pienaar, Kev and Gerry taking turns out wide?

I do genuinely think Cleverley will be a big player for us ala Mccarthy is now. Too many people judge him on the sillyest things, from playing under Moyes (out of europe season) or under lambert (sacked) which is crazy to judge him on.
If he is a squad player at best then hell, he cost no transfer fee and the lad clearly wanted to sign which should go a long way. but i genuinbely think he will be a important player for us in the future
