People who complete passes successfully are always welcome and stats tend to suggest he's good at doing that. Of course, stats like that can often mask a poor player creatively speaking, but my recollections of him early in his United career are that he can add some punch to an attack.
I honestly dont see him being deployed by Martinez in CM, and his words quoted there are instructive in that he says that Cleverley is the one who feels he's best back there. I'd see him in a position on the left and being used in the same way that Martinez used Jordi Gomez at Swansea/Wigan - getting him in between opposition lines. More a successor to Pienaar than Barry.
