Doogie let me be clear to you. I have always stated we would not be relegated for one. For 2 I have always said because of the results, tactics, selections this season I am not convinced that he is the right long term manager for Everton. I am not the only who has pointed out that his press conferences are not very good, so because I comment on the latest you come out and jump on me.

WE cannot all have the holier than thou feeling as you have, so why not now give me a rest, thank you.

Have you read a direct quote from Martinez saying we are signing Cleverley?

I've not myself, and until then I'll reframe from chastising him on it to be honest.

You need to pick your Martinez arguments better as I've said you just come across like some drunken kid trying to fight after last orders with this wild and inappropriate swings.

Your alright outside of the tim howard thread

He's a 'link' though isn't he, between midfield and attack.
Never had many assists and hardly scored.

Maybe Cleverley is the new Pienaar?

Leave pienaar out of this, he has more talent in his left bollock than cleverly has full stop

Gets more assists than most have in our midfiled over the years, plus the amount of times hes assisted baines who's then claimed an assist.
And 26 goals from him isnt bad

I want you to know that you're the first person on this forum that I put on ignore. I've seen things you wouldn't believe. Theoretical attacking formations where the midfield holder is Ryan (Ledson). I watched B-teams wither on the park, Barkley fail to dictate. All those… moments… will be lost in time, like [small cough] quotes… at…the bottom of a post. Time to die....

Not slating pienaar at all. He was top notch for us.
But perhaps cleverleys stats are deceptive?

What a melodramatic little photoshopper you are x

Wonder where Roberto is seeing him in this team. If he's brought to play in center I could live with that - every team needs a player that does a simple things, just to add balance and dictates tempo. He could give us options because he's more mobile than Barry and more eager to get forward than McCarthy.

I think the biggest problem with him is that people expects too much from him. He's not a creator, he's not a dribbler or shooter. He's just a solid player who can hold up play, redistribute the ball and keep things simple. Sometimes you need players like him to kill the game off or slow things down.
