Loads of reviewers gave Assassin's Creed: Unity an almost perfect score. They were professional game reviewers.
In my opinion, the game was absolute gash. But does my opinion not count for anything because a select group of 'professionals' disagree?
You don't have to be something to have an opinion on it. All 20 Premier League managers could have a positive opinion on Cleverley - it doesn't invalidate my opinion one jot.
Same with politics - pretty much every party politician has an opinion that are broadly in line; are we not allowed to disagree with them? Are our opinions on politics automatically wrong because the 'professionals' say different?
We're clearly talking about managers in the Premier League. I would refer you to the post i was originally responding to, Tubey saying he is crap.
Ferguson rated him. Moyes rated him. Martinez rates him to do a job in our side. Sherwood rates him at Villa.
If all of those people think he's good enough for those respective teams it's fairly likely he's not crap, and is worthy of a place in our squad.
this is the biggest fear with martinez right now with this season, bringing cleverly in on a free transfer would actually the pad the squad out nicely, martinez bringing him in and playing him no matter what and alienating other talents is what concerns me
Ali Dia was hired by a premier league manager, an all, like.

indeed, and we have seen the effects of shoehorning preferred personel in over balance to the team, if that spreads to transfer policy over squad balance we could end up down a very tricky path with this fellaI don't mind cleverley, my sole worry with him is we kind are ok at dm. If we're selling barry or gibson then fine, welcome to goodison tom.
But if we're not then we'll have 5 players who can occupy one position in the team. And that means playing 2 dms every game which I'm far form convinced is needed especially if it means his wages aren't going elsewhere where we need numbers badly.
Terrible analogies.
Said it before, Cleverley coming in would see a really cheesed off Besic leaving, and I would rather have Besic.
Tom Cleverly is like chromes disease
Is that a web browser infection?
They're not though are they. Game reviewers play countless games, politicians make countless policies, football managers rate countless players.
They all make mistakes, and can do so collectively. Anthony Gardner was called up to England by Sven-Goran Erikkson, played over 100 times for Spurs and was deemed good enough by Moyes to cover for us defensively. They were all wrong about his quality. There's hundreds of other examples. Your argument is flawed - a player being selected by a manager is no determination of quality; otherwise, Bebe, Djemba-Djemba and so on would be still stars in and around the league off the back of a Ferguson "rating" alone.
