He played a quality pass inside the fullback for kenny to get on - resulted in a corner I think.

I used to think that Frank Lampard at WHU was slow and not hardworking and was surprised
when CFC bought him.

But at Chelsea Lampard made a point of improving his shooting ability and fitness and turned into
a top player.

Davies needs to do likewise. He needs to work on his shooting and passing. He has loads of time to improve
but at the moment he is not good enough.

The heat he cops in here is one of the most absurd things I've ever come across in this forum. I don't think anyone thinks he is a world beater but even when he plays well its somehow cool to keep knocking him down a peg. I don't get it.

Barkley's gone, the boo-boys need a new target to bully.

I jest, can understand the frustration, but ultimately he's our only central midfielder who attempts the eye-of-the-needle pass. A lot of the time it won't come off. He's a young lad, who is learning the game, we need to take a long-term view with him.

Good tackling, won headers, improved passing. I think he had a good game. Took a clever yellow for the team. Did well to remain competitive without diving in thereafter. Seems to be getting his confidence back. Positive signs.

That pass he gave away near the edge of our area, they nearly scored from it with a decent shot, sums him up. Very clumsy in possession.

Yes he did have a good game, particularly 1st half.

..his passing and possession quality continues to concern me, it’s an area of his game that really has to improve.

Vastly under estimated young player at Everton...

He is doing a lot of unnoticed work in the middle & works hard for the team he is the unsung hero at Everton...

Progressing well under Silva who believes in this lad & will not be long before England come calling...
