No need to lie, I've read posts from yourself saying you attend home games with either your son or brother. It's a bit like my Dad can fight your Dad sort of thing this.
I felt like that last season, for most of the season, nothing to do with the results or the style of football, simply the fans had made my matchday experience very unjoyable.
Dont get me wrong, on the main the regulars who are there every week are very good people, but now and again theres a few new mutants who cant seem to enjoy the game without racially abusing our own players and simply abusing every player in blue.
I bite my tongue mostly, but now and again I have a word, I would do it every week, but I kinda like my seat and dont want to get banned for throwing somebody on to the pitch.
Its honestly nothing like that.
I was just curious where you sit, cos if nobody abuses players it sounds great.

Our fans can be ridiculous at times, they ultimately look stupid though.
Naismith got dogs abuse and then became a fan favourite. Nobody give him a chance to adjust to the premiership.
Barkley got a lot of abuse for his overthinking a simple pass but the lad has raw ability and we missed him last season.
Niasse got abused, not given enough time to adjust to the league but then scored a few goals and became a fan favourite. Can't put a foot wrong now and when he does everyone laughs.
Almost forgot to mention Lukaku, remember when everyone gave him abuse? Was only about 20 years old at the time.

I never said it was all rainbows and fairy lights, if someone makes a mistake they are disgruntled but not to the point they're abusing the lad.

Of course it does. I just don't think we've ever had it that bad to massively affect them. Bar Schneiderlein. Who played far better after a good booing.
I just think some need to have a bit more patience and be realistic this season.
