He does.

He's the only midfielder who can transition from midfield to attack, take up good positions and link up the play.

Gana and Morgan cant do that, and Sigurdsson has no ability to find space.

Havent lost a game with Davies on the pitch this season, he was an integral part to our only win, and when he's dropped we produce a stinker at home to West Ham.

You may not rate him as a player, but it's there for all to see that he does add a balance to the midfield.

He has absolutely nothing like Rabiot beyond them being professional footballers and having interesting hairstyles.

There are better out there who are younger tho, Mason Mount, the young Chelsea lad on loan at Derby for example. He is streets ahead of Davies already. Lampard has said he should be playing in the PL, and Southgate went to watch him recently as it looks like he may get a senior call up.

Remember Davies was very good in his breakthrough season too though.

He was i agree, i don't doubt he will be a decent player at some point in the future but i do worry with him as he just seems to have an awful lot to learn about playing in midfield.

IMO he needs to focus on football not his image. He believes his own hype too much.

As individuals they are all decent enough players, but none of them seem to be able to play together, they just don't compliment each other, sometimes that's just the way unfortunately.

Very important for the balance of the team that he is back consistently in our midfield until we sign somewhere better.
