That remains to be seen and I’m sure we’ll get a big indication of that by who Ancelotti signs during the transfer window. My guess is he will stick with it. Why else would he be currently persisting with it if he had players who aren’t apparently capable of playing in a 2 man midfield?

There are more problems than one player with us ATM it is quite obvious we need some fresh new & better players who are fit ready for next season...

He is not good enough in any aspect of the game to play midfield, I can’t see a role for him. Unfortunately the rest of the midfield are the same. Holgate would appear to be the only answer, unfortunately he is the only answer at centre half as well.
